Me: I’m making pizza tonight, Ada. I feel like spinach and goat cheese pizza.
Ada: I don’t want spinach pizza. I don’t want spinach on anything. Oh, I know! I’m too small. Maybe when I’m bigger. Then I’ll eat spinach pizza.
Me: What do you want on your pizza then?
Ada: Shrimp and strawberries

Surprisingly, she isn’t the first to think of that. The addition of mayo makes it sound even more special.

Actually, you know what makes shrimp and strawberries together sound really good? Hint: Not Mayo. The inclusion of bacon into the party. I’m going to have to try this once I repair my grill because shrimp and strawberries are two of Ada’s favorite foods and she would eat them for every meal if I let her. And of course, I’ll suck Jay in with the bacon. He likes strawberries too. It won’t be hard.

Mac: So, where are we going?
Me: Ada, what do you want to eat this morning for breakfast?
Ada: Rabbits!
Me: Did you say you want to eat rabbits?
Ada: Yeah!
Mac,laughing: I guess I don’t need to get repellent for the yard. I just need to send Ada outside.
