One Closet Down, One To Go
My closet is done. Okay, my closet is almost done. Everything is still on my bed. I’m waiting for the Roomba to finish sweeping now that there isn’t anything on the floor.
I don’t remember the last time I took everything out of it for cleaning and organizing. It seems like it was just yesterday, but I’m sure it was over a year ago. I have filed three kitchen trash bags full. That’s three less trash bags worth of clothes stuffed in the closet. I know it seems like a lot. Okay, it is, but they are clothes from both seasons. And I’m tossing some of the torn and bleached clothes that I use as cleaning clothes because I don’t care if they get torn or bleach on them. Some of my other t-shirts are now my cleaning ones, of the ones that I’m not getting rid of. I cut back on the number of t-shirts that I’ve collected from various events as well.
I was going to do the kids’ closet today, but my shoulder and neck are starting to bother me. I’m going to call it quits for today. I can tackle their closet tomorrow.
I’m sure everyone is enthralled with the state of my closet. Posting about it gives me an excuse to stop doing it for a bit, so you get the details.
