New Cooking Site
I stumbled upon this site today: Cookbooker. It allows you to keep a list of the cookbooks you own, tying you together with other owners, where you can share notes on recipes in said books. I’ve started adding a few of mine, and will get to the rest later.
I have made nothing fabulous lately. I did make some homemade noodles for dinner tonight, with some extra that I cut into spaghetti for lunch tomorrow.
Today was beautiful outside. I spent it working some on the front yard while Ada rode her bike. I gave the grass the stink-eye knowing that I’m going to have to mow it soon. We are planning our flowers and meager garden. Ada picked out sunflowers this year. Jay picked out morning glories, which is good because my trellis flower that I’ve been trying to grow the last two years is a failure. Maybe his will work better. I plan to grow the food in containers because despite living in Kansas, I have a hill in the middle of my backyard and thus not too many places to build a raised bed. I was out of town for the annual city compost sale. Luckily a friend of mine wasn’t and didn’t miss it and is sharing.
