The Death Bell Tolls
It looks like Gourmet magazine is getting the axe. I don’t read it. I prefer Saveur, and even that one I look at in digital form. If you want recipes from Gourmet magazine, head to Epicurious. That’s one of my frequent recipe places.
Now I’m in the mood for bacon. Great.
My lawn is hopefully mowed for the last time this season. My next adventure in the yard will be leaf and twig collecting. I just have a tad bit of trimming to do in the backyard, which will be a pleasure since I replaced the electric corded trimmer that didn’t even reach clear to the back of my long yard with a battery trimmer which starts as easy as an electric one but has the portability of a gas one. I had to take four breaks to calm down and get my coughing under control. Really, really, really tired of the coughing.
