Something’s in the air

I worked a couple of ours in the front yard yesterday. It was a sneezing, itchy nose, eye swelling experience. My allergies have been terrible this season. I haven’t had this bad of a problem with them in probably 12-ish years. The weather is at temps where I could turn off the AC, but I don’t dare. Just the short time I was outside this morning to take Ada and Jay to their respective places set me off again. I do have some new weeds that have sprouted up in my yard this year that I’ve never seen. Are they the culprit? Or is it just the cooler temps and lots of rain that have been keeping everything alive much longer than usual.

The bad part? I have to do the back yard today. I’m going to pick up some Claritin on the way home from getting Ada because all I have is Benedryl. Ada also has been rubbing her nose and sneezing with great abandoned. Thankfully they have some for her age.

Yesterday’s meal was leftovers. Tonight is sandwiches. Tomorrow I should be able to cook again. I’m going to smoke a pork butt on the grill.

I do believe I’ve heard that it’s been one of the worst seasons ever
