What’s Cooking: Tuesday
See what I mean by my menu changing? Tonight will be Chinese or Indian take-out because a migraine kicked my ass today. I had a regular headache when I took Ada to school, but it bloomed into a light and sound avoiding, nauseated, pounding migraine by 9:30am. Picking up Ada from school was a lesson in pain management meditating. I drugged myself after I fed her, and slept until 4:45.
I’m back to a regular headache and feeling groggy. I need to mow the lawn still. That was going to be my big chore today since rain is in the forecast for the next five days. I’m going to go get James and then try to at least get the front yard since that is the visible part. The back yard will be a jungle by next weekend.
I also have Jay and Ada’s B-I-K-E-S in the garage waiting for the required assembly. I wanted to have that done for her when she got home today. Now I will wait until after the passing of the rain.
I picked up Ada, and she had some of the work she did for today. She was particularly proud of her triangles. She exclaimed in the car on the way home, “I love triangles!” She wanted leftover pizza for lunch because it was a triangle.
