*Yaaaaaaaawn*
I spent the morning going on a field trip to the Prairie Park Nature Center with 35 kids ages 2-5. I’m frakin’ exhausted. And I have partly-chewed sandwich smeared on my pants. I was only responsible for four of them. That doesn’t seem hard or tiring until you add them to the blurry gaggle of running and yelling children.
Instead of sleeping, I’m going to caffeinate myself back up and start scanning photos while my kids are resting up for their next attack.
Also, I have a big problem. James has figured out how to undo the buckle for his booster seat, and he won’t stop doing it while I’m driving. I had to pull over on the way there and back to hook him back in. I’m going to see if I can find some sort of safety mechanism that I can put over the buckle to stop him from doing it. At least, until he can figure out how to undo that. In the meantime, I’ve given Ada permission to beat him if she catches him trying.
ETA: I found what I was looking for. Now to see if I can find one in town.
