Look what I did!
This is what I did for dinner for Mac because I spent much of the day baking bagels and not planning dinner. The Bagel Man tutored me in the way of the bagel today. He also left convenient bins for part of the bagel process, one of which is being used for storage for the 2 dozen that were made today.
The only mistake made was to do the lemon ginger last. That resulted in them being unprotected on the cooling rack at the end of the day. That resulted in the kids eating them at whim. Ada helped herself to two. Jay took a few bites out of two, left the rest lying around and then tried to throw a third one in the fireplace. It was one of those slow motion “Nnnnooooooooooo…” moments. I did catch it, but I’d rather they ravage the everything and leave my darling lemon ginger alone.
Guess what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow.
