Beautiful Day!!
Mac went into KC all day, so it is just me and the kiddos. I made pancakes and bacon for us for breakfast. The kids are dressed and playing, and I just got done cleaning up dishes. The weather turned beautiful yesterday and today. The high yesterday was in the lower 80s! Fabulous! These past two mornings, I’ve opened the deck door to enjoy the cool breeze and fresh air. I know this isn’t permanent, so I will enjoy it until the Kansas weather with its 100-degree temps return. Today’s high is only suppose to be 78, so I’m opening the rest of the house and using fans to move the air through.
I’m still enjoying my vacation, although I have started my program at Lee Hecht Harrison. It is part of my severance benefits, and I’ve had access to the website since last October. It actually is a good resource for those on a career path. The only thing that I don’t like is that they gave me homework. To get done by Friday.
