Our Short Getaway
Ada and I took off for Hutchinson, KS to visit family. It was a short trip, and she did pretty well. I passed on one get together, but did get the opportunity to visit with others that I haven’t seen in awhile. Thanks be to Facebook for both of them! Aside from the annoying applications, it has been great for connecting with People From The Past. Here is the only photo I took of that meeting. L was kind to help Ada climb on the playground equipment.
It was nice to see L again. He’s starting high school this fall at 6’2″ and is still growing. His big accomplishment really isn’t being taller than me. His big accomplishment was being taller than me when he was in third grade.
I can’t wait until I get some more photography time. I have a lot of things I need to figure out. The house chores are my top priority though with painting next on my list. Not sure when I am going to start that, but I am going to start downstairs. It is easier to keep the kids away from downstairs.

Ada had a collosal tantrum this evening. While I was trying to calm her down, Jay decided to flood the bathroom. Seriously, some days I just cannot win.
