First No Knead Bread
Since my KitchenAid is being repaired, I thought I would finally give No Knead bread a shot. I mixed it all together last night and let it rise for 16 hours. Then I gave it a quick knead, shaped it, and let it proof for 2.5 hours before dumping it in the cast iron pot you see pictured.
It smells really good, and the entire thing crackled when taken out of the oven. We shall see when we eat it soon. I’m just waiting on Mac to get back with the filet mignon for me to put on the grill.
The only thing that I don’t like is the bottom. The crust is a little too rustic for my tastes. If the bread inside tastes good, I’ll adjust cooking. If anything, this is extremely easy to make. You just need to plan ahead.
