Clothing WIN
Mac assembled all the containers of clothing into the living room. They have all been sorted. The wonderful news about it is that Ada can fit into almost all of her 4T summer clothes from last year. That is a big win for us. She could even fit into a 3T dress of hers, except that it is about 1.5 inches shorter than intended. She likes it, and you can’t see her butt, so she can wear it. The few clothes that I did pick up for her this weekend I bought in a 5T, so those will hopefully be worn next year as well. The only thing she needs for summer is sandals. She definitely cannot wear her shoes from last year.
Jay didn’t have such luck, but he did have a couple of shorts and a couple of shirts from last year. He also scored a jacket, pair of khaki pants, a KU t-shirt and some Chucks that belonged to Ada.
Both of the kids are in the bathtub screaming. Ada will go to bed, fall asleep and stay that way all night. She is going there as soon as her bath is over. Jay on the other hand will continue to scream, go to bed and scream, get out of bed and scream, fall asleep and then get up and scream repeatedly throughout most of the night. Nighttime with him is extremely exhausting.
What size boys’ clothes does he need? I have tubs full in the basement that I’m getting rid of, dirt cheap.
Jay is wearing a 2 – 3T.
Oh, and I still have all of Ada’s clothes too if you wanted to look to see if sizes and seasons match up for C.
I’ll look and see what I still have in the basement. I sold some stuff on cragislist last year, but you couldn’t tell from looking behind my furnace.
