The most recent sickness
No idea if it is food or a virus, but both Mac and James are sick. Mac started around 1:30-ish am, and I woke up to both him and James puking a little after 3:00am. James is now acting fine, but has diapers that are leaky and gag-worthy. We all ate the same food, and so far, Ada and I fine other than Ada being up for the 3:00am puke-fest and not going back to sleep. I’ve been coating myself in Germ-X.
I have to make that turkey today or never, I think. I’m not sure if I want it in the fridge another day. That means as long as Ada and I are okay, we will be staring at a mighty big meal. If James improves, I’ll include him. Right now, he is on a diet of Pedialyte and more Pedialyte.
I sort of wish that James felt a little more sluggish. I’d rather sit with him on my lap, rocking my sick boy than chase after him for tearing the clothes off his hangars, turning all the dials on the amp, trying to climb the stove by using the handle of the bottom oven, standing up and jumping on the sofa, sticking his finger if every port on my laptop and running around beating things with my rolling pin.
