First day of spring!
I had no idea the first day of Spring this year would be in January. It is 71 degrees out. I opened the windows, and I’m sitting on the deck while Ada plants and waters flowers in my herb planters. She is even using real water. Because it is 71 degrees, so who cares if she gets all wet. Which she will. And muddy. I did end up putting on a sweatshirt because it is really windy. Other than that, I’m soaking up the fresh air and sun. It makes me think, in 2 months, these types of days will be a regular thing. Excitement!
Happy Birthday, Lydia! I hope you enjoyed your present, courtesy Mother Nature. Tomorrow, back to regular winter cold, I think.
