On menu changing and laptops
My laptop broke again, so Mac took it in for me. I’m okay for work since I have a back-up one provided by them. I’m not okay for dinner since my recipe was on my laptop, and I forgot to print it out–when I can print. Our printer is going crazy as well. So, dinner adjustment:
Tuesday: Leftover night was yummy–I made chicken BBQ pizza with leftover chicken from the garlic rosemary chicken, leftover dough from our earlier homemade pizza night, leftover cheese–already grated from pizza night–and bacon that I had for dinner that was supposed to be tonight but will now be tomorrow. I also turned the leftover taco soup into warmed up leftover taco soup.
Wednesday: Without my recipe, well, I could have made it because bisque is really easy. Frankly, I didn’t feel like making dinner. Mac stepped in and made baked tortellini.
Thursday: Root vegetable bisque — My original fish is easy to substitute because I don’t buy the fish until the night before or day of. So, I haven’t bought the fish to use.
Friday: I have an abundance of chicken, so this will be some sort of chicken soup night. Chicken and noodles. Or dumplings. And Cheddar Mashed Potato Gratin. I have potatoes that I need to use up.
I’m not making my bisque tonight without my recipe either. My laptop is fixed. Mac is picking it up today. Our lesson with Apple products is never, ever try to take it to an Apple store. Take it to KU. It gets fixed way faster with less hassle even considering we have to do battle with our nemesis: The KU Parking Department.
