James’ Birthday Greeting

I almost forgot to write about James’ birthday greeting. When he walked in the house after Mac brought them home from daycare, he ran up to me after Mac prompted him to tell me Happy Birthday. His conversation went like this:

James: Happ Dirday!
James: Kitty?
James: [shakes head] Noooo!
James: Let me stick my finger up your nose^*

*Which is what he would have said if he could form complete sentences. Instead, he just used the sign for “Let me stick my finger up your nose.”
