I was carded again

I’m used to it. I get carded most times when I go to the liquor store. I get carded going into bars. I have never been able to go gambling in KC without being carded at the entry, and then pulled aside and carded again–complete with questions about my ID–while the rest of my party goes by without problems, including my brother who is almost 5 years younger.

This time I was carded buying a game. I saw the POS screen. It said, “Was the customer born before Nov. 7th 1991.” They carded me to check. Would you like to know what I was doing Nov. 7th 1991? I was doing high school. Afterwards, I thought, “Maybe they thought it meant, ‘Was this customer able to buy this game if it were Nov 7th 1991′.” That answer is no.

This incident just popped into my head again because Mac is playing said game — Fallout 3 — right now.
