Another book acquired!
Friends of ours had a baby yesterday. Congrats to them! We went to visit over lunch today. That gave me the opportunity to go to Blue Dandelion. I love that place. While there, Mac spotted another pigeon book, so we now have The Pigeon Wants A Puppy. The next one that I think Ada really needs is Don’t Let The Pigeon Stay Up Late.
or maybe she needs some TMBG bed, bed, bed!

She takes that one to bed with her every night. Along with one or two of our pigeon books, Monkey and Me and either Polar Bear, Polar Bear or Brown Bear, Brown Bear. It depends on which one James is sleeping with in his crib.
Don’t Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late is so funny. As a mom who has seen every stall technique in the book, that is. I’m glad to know it’s not just my kids sleeping with a library, too. Last night C dragged 3 books into bed with her, spread them out, and fell asleep on them. How can that be comfortable?
The last task of my bedtime ritual involves prying books out from underneath sleeping children.
I’m going to have to pick up the Scaredy Squirrel book sometime too.
