On cooking
ETA: Probably more for M and L than anybody
I’m making my meal list for the week after one glorious week off from cooking. Actually, I do like cooking, but while they were visiting, I took them to all the local places to eat that we could fit in. I cooked only twice. Now that I’ve had my fill of eating out, I’m looking forward to cooking again. M did the Nutella ice cream experiment while he was here, so I now have with some extra heavy cream. The answer to what I am going to use it for besides more ice cream is: a cashew chicken curry and flan.
I had a friend start posting her meal list for the week. I put mine in my calendar so not only do I have the list, I have history so when someone says “Didn’t we just have that?*” I can respond “If your definition of ‘just’ is 5 weeks ago, then yes.”
Another note, I was brave enough yesterday to get on the scale after 1 week of eating out. I didn’t gain anything at all. Color me shocked!
*That person being Mac and the dishes in question usually being casseroles.
I didn’t either…not quite sure how that’s possible, but I’ll take it!
