Day 195: Macro Lens
My first try with a macro lens. It would be a fun one to add to my camera set-up. Oh, and you can see *everything*, meaning all the dust in my room.
This is a DVD.
Today we went to the other good sushi place in Lawrence–Yokohama. After eating there and at The Wa in the same week, I have to declare Yokohama my favorite*.
Afterwards, shoe shopping at Arensbergs and a trip to the KU Bookstore. I got matching hoodies for Ada and I, and I picked up two books–for myself even! I think out of all the bookstore shopping trips, I have scored one book and Ada and James have scored about six. I found a book there that I would have gotten for them, but I really hate buying overpriced books, even if it local. The two books that I ended up getting are one that has a story from someone I know that is always out online, and the other is also by someone that I know that I’ve been wanting, but have yet to pick up and read. This second one was autographed, so I picked it up even though I’m pretty sure I could get it autographed if it wasn’t. I’d never ask though because I lack the desire to present myself as a dorky fan girl.
*I noted that for one reader in particular.

Sorry, hon. Yokohama’s been #1 in my book for over a year now. You’ll have to suffer the consequences of being late to this party. I’m not prepared to change my allegiance at this point. =b
I will, however, volunteer to be your dorky fan girl sub whenever you want something autographed. I have no shame when it comes to asking for autographs.
Okay, *maybe* I was addressing the one reader who takes me out for sushi
(I wasn’t.)
I feel confident though because I’m a skeptic of such things and there are two of them.
