Day 190: Tis the Season
A couple of days ago, Mac went to the grocery to pick up a few things. He told me that the aisle that holds the holiday items was being cleaned out. I told him that I bet that Halloween stuff would be up by the next day. I didn’t go the next day, but I did today, and it has officially began.
Thursday, August 14th – Day One of the 2008-2009 Candy Season
From now until mid-April 2009 every store will have 1 or more aisles dedicated to Holiday themed candy. I used to start in September, but has moved up to mid-August in the late 90s. Yes, I track candy season. It is because sugar will probably be the cause of my demise, and this is the season that requires a great deal of willpower on my part. I’ve done really well the last 4 years. This bag was purchased for Ada’s bribery jar.
