This can’t be good, but it is oh so good!
I’m eating pizza at 10:14pm. It is oh so yummy!
Geekmom, Verminiusrex*, and the kiddos spent the day at our house. They brought over Mario Kart Wii, and now I know I want the game. I don’t think that I’ll go on a great quest to find it, but whenever I’m in a location that sells Wii games, I’m going to look and see if one is in stock. Eventually, they will be.
That wasn’t the best part. The best part was the pizza that Verminiusrex made. The pizza he was very kind to leave over and I’m eating more right now. I must learn to do this. I need to tackle my fear that every yeast dough that I touch is doomed for failure. He also left dough. I’ve got enough yummy to last for the next few days.
I had blackberries from the farmer’s market that needed to be used, so I decided to make ice cream with them. I usually stick the bowl in the freezer for a little bit to harden it up. I’m not sure how long it was in there, but when we got it out, it had about the same consistency as soft serve still. Strange. Actually, it seems even more strange now that I think about it. It was in the deep freeze. Now it makes me want to go check the deep freeze because I think that the bowl should have even been colder.
Yup, checking the deep freeze now.
ETA: The freezer is fine. The ice cream is now completely frozen. *whew*
We got Mario Kart Wii when it came out. It’s a good time. I have to use the steering wheel, Jason prefers the wiimote/nunchuck combo.
