Day 148: New shoe (take one)
Here is one new shoe. It is hard to tell from this bad photo that it is open toe. Maybe a good theme for photos would be to retake some of the bad ones. Later, when times allows.
My pulled muscle feels much better today. I’ll be back at the gym tomorrow. Thank-goodness!
Ada has had two colossally gigantamous melt-downs this evening. My mother said she was yawning all day, so hopefully that means early bedtime for her. My eyes are so tired they want to retreat all the way into my skull, nestling deep into the pillows of my brain for a long nap. I’ve got too much stuff to do for that. I’ll sleep when I’m dead–is that the saying?

Whoa. Shoe love. I heartily approve.
Well, at least you have better taste in men.
At least, you’d like to think so since you’ve been friends with me for over a decade.
Stop it! You’re making me feel old! I’m not supposed to be measuring my life by decades yet!
Don’t worry. It happens to all of us. Well, eventually. I still get carded at the liquor store
Me Too!!!
That happens to L as well. Y’all think it’s because you look young. It’s really because the liquor vendors are stalkers and they like pretty girls.
Those are so cute they hurt my feet just looking at them!
I wore them all day, and while I don’t spend a ton of time on my feet, I walked around the office and downtown KC without any foot pain. They key to wearing pain-free heels is to buy good ones.
