Day 143: We do not need Green Eggs and Ham.
I don’t remember who I was talking to, but I mentioned our four copies of Green Eggs and Ham that we received as gifts when we had Ada. I picked up the kids room yesterday, and while straightening books, they all ended up on the same shelf. I used to keep one of them in the car, so I’m hoping we only have four instead of five. It is a popular book to give as a gift.
So, no offense, Sam-I-Am, I’m do not need Green Eggs and Ham. I’m full.
Ada delighted me this morning with a “Oh, hi Mommy! Look, rain, rain! RAIN!!!!” It was a little before 5:00 am. James followed by screaming fifteen minutes later. *Yawn*
And my arms, they are jelly after my day at the gym today.
Maybe this is an omen that there will be another Ada and another James.
Since all of them were given for Ada, I think that it was an omen that taking care of Ada will be like taking care of four regular kids.
That’s a much funnier omen.
