Flood season?
I was listening to a story on the way to work that we could possible expect flooding this spring/summer due to the super wet winter we had. They referred to the summer of 1993. Surely it wouldn’t be that bad. Hopefully. There were a couple of rains last year that forced me to get off of I-70 due to quickly rising water.
Branson waterfront is flooding due to water needing to be released from Table Rock. The story says that about 2 dozen residents along Taneycomo have been asked to leave since the water in Taneycomo is supposed to rise 3 to 5 feet above flood level. My grandparents live by Taneycomo on the opposite side of the riverwalk. They are a little farther uphill, so hopefully they and my aunt’s house next door are fine. I should probably call anyhow just to check.
