Day 100: It is finally home!
We went to Memorial Stadium yesterday for the homecoming. It looked like the crowd filled up over half of the stadium, but estimates were listed at just half. I could have not been eyeballing how close together people were sitting perhaps. Anyhow, there were too many people to fit in Allen Fieldhouse. My mother really enjoyed going. Mac and I have talked in the past about getting season tickets. It just depends how long we intend to stay in Lawrence because it takes time to get enough points to get tickets worth having. And money. Lots of money.
I took yesterday off, but I still had one small thing I wanted to do before my deploy this morning at 6:30am. I had mentioned on Monday that my Citrix session turned blue, but I didn’t care because I was ready to be done with work and get ready for the game. Well, last night, I couldn’t remote into my desktop at all. So, I had to drive into work this morning. The best thing about being there at 5:00am is that you get the bestest of parking spots. I got my stuff done, but by the time I walked in the door, the small headache I had when I left home was a big headache. By the time I was done with the deploy, it was a mind crushing headache, complete with nausea. I was having a hard time typing correctly too. My 23-year experience with migraines told me that I had to drive home before I couldn’t. I just woke up, and it is back to a dull roar with the nausea gone. I missed a meeting and a team lunch though. And I wore a KU t-shirt today so all could bask in the glow. I hope to get a do-over tomorrow.

I’m so sorry to hear you got such a bad migraine. Good luck on your do-over.
I remember when you used to get those when we were in 8th grade. Sorry that’s still the case.
