Day 71: Garlic soba noodles(?)
In my post yesterday, I mentioned that one family member may not eat the noodles again.
On Sunday night when I was getting Ada ready for bed, I noticed a small rash on the bottom of her middle back. It looked like it was just a little dry, and both of my children got my dry skin/eczema problems, so I rubbed lotion on it for her. When she got up Monday, it had spread to all over her back, around to parts of her stomach and chest. It looked like she had a really bad sunburn, and she scratched and scratched and scratched. The only thing that I can think that may have caused it was the fact that she ate buckwheat for the first time for dinner on Sunday, courtesy of the noodles.
I’m never 100% sure that it is a food because it has happened a couple of times with new foods, but when I tried the foods again, she was fine. I’ll do the same thing here. I’ll have her try them again, and if she has problems, no more buckwheat for her.
