It is going to be one of those days
I have days, luckily spread out, where I’m really clumsy. Or, I’m just not focused, and it results in me knocking things over or hurting myself. Albeit short and unimaginative, I call them “Bad Days.” So far today I have stubbed my toe, racked my shin, stepped on a toy, racked my head on the door frame of my car, about knocked over an entire row of cereal bars at the store, and the first thing that I did when I got into the office was dump a cup of coffee on my skirt and boots. At least I didn’t dump a cup of coffee on my laptop. I would have cried real tears, and as I often say to Mac, “There is no crying in IT.”
The last day like this that I can remember was during the CMD. I’ll have to find the post, but I do remember that I about ended up with grill marks on my face from the fan on the console of my treadmill when my thumb accidentally hit the stop button while I wasn’t looking . I was listening to the iPod, so I couldn’t hear the “Warning! This treadmill is about to stop!” beeping.
The worst of these bad days was while I was in college. I started the day by setting myself on fire, and it went downhill from there. That day was also the second Bad Day that involved me being set on fire.
Mac surprised me with a new battery for my laptop! My MacBook Pro battery lasted only a year before it would no longer hold a charge. I had about 3 – 5 minutes before my fully charged battery died. I charged up the new battery last night, and I’ve had it running for 44 minutes and it still has an 83% charge. Thanks, Mac!
