Day 54: Rockin’ Ada
While I was sitting in the rocking chair last night, I thought I would use my headphones to drown out distractions so I could read. It didn’t work, but Ada was interested in them, so I put them on and loaded up some music. It is the first time she has had headphones on. I loved the look on her face once they started playing music (shown in this photo). Of course, I had the Fraggle Rock theme song in her playlist and that was what she wanted to hear over and over and over. Forget the TMBG Here Come the 123s that I just got for her. Since she had the headphones on, she had no idea of her volume level. Of course, without headphones she has no idea of her volume level. She wasn’t “May I listen to the Fraggle Rock theme song again.” It was “MORE GRAGGLE EARS! MORE GRAGGLE EARS! PEAS!”
Taking a photo here was difficult because I had too many different kind of lights that cast odd colors in the photo, and I wasn’t setting up this shot. I was sitting there and watching her listen to my headphones and I said “I need my camera.” Also, Ada now thinks that she has to bend down, lean in and peer into the lens. It is getting hard to make her stop. Once Fraggle Rock stopped playing, she was at it again.
Also, last night she would throw a fit everytime we tried to put her jammies on her, so I ended up giving her one of my t-shirts to wear. She was happy to accept that.
