I changed my softbox a bit by replacing my old desk lamp with a 75W bulb (when it is supposed to only have 40W) with a commercial clip lamp and a 150W bulb. Much better. I did another session with James last night since Mac was around to help distract him. I’m going to be posting the 4 that I like from best to “eh.” Yes, the “James Series!” This one is my fav.
I have heard other people grump a little over whatever image tool Flickr is using because it changes the pictures too much–most complaints in terms of how it sharpens the photo. I have noticed with the last few that I’ve posted that my photos on Flickr are slightly desaturated compared to what I see on my laptop.
I think that we have everything for me to start our taxes. And I have James’ first birthday party to plan. He is going to be 1-year on Feb 7th! It also marks the 1-year anniversary that I found out I was going to lose my job. I saw it on the news in the hospital the day I had James.
Speaking of birthdays, Happy BDay to chernobylred! I hope at the very least you get a good night’s sleep for L-Day!
Mask and sharpen the irises with unsharp mask. Also, you might (physically) be slightly too close (closer than the minimal focusing distance)
