Day13: At the park
Yes, it is chilly today — lower 30s. However, sunny and no wind, says I. Ada was running all over the house to the delight of the downstairs people, so we packed on coats and went to the park. Ada could run and run and run. And slide and slide and slide. She likes the park, and threw her typical fit when it was time to leave.
Then we headed to Michael’s so I could pick up one item for my lighting project. I also have been looking at photos to pick out for Ada to make a picture book. I thought about getting a scrapbook to put pictures in for her, so I got a scrapbook kit because overall it is cheaper than buying separate. However, wow, they do have some nice scrapbooks and while I have never had a desire to do scrapbooking, I’ve always liked paper and some of the paper was cool too. So, here I am. With scrapbooking stuff. And letter stamps because my handwriting fluctuates from sort of neat and readable to atrociously sloppy. There were some other stamps that I liked, but I didn’t want to put more money into it if I didn’t end up liking it because it won’t be Ada doing the majority of the work.
Extra thoughts:
- Next week, we will visit Googols of Fun for indoor, run-off-the-energy activites.
- Me, scrapbooking? My life is different now.
- I think Ada is drinking her bathwater. Eww, time to stop posting.
