Day 1: How I spent my first day of the year
This is my first picture for Project 366*. Mac was kind enough to be my model since I decided to do this at the very end of the day on January 1st. I picked up my iPhone and snapped a shot.
For the new day of the year, we hung around the house. Fun, yes? My mom got up with the kids so Mac and I could sleep in. I got up first around 9:30, and Mac got up later. Ada and I watched the Rose Bowl parade with lots and lots of “What’s that?” I then left to visit with friends and eat black-eyed peas. The rest of our day was relaxation, relaxation, relaxation.
*I took the privilege of changing the name since this is a leap year.
