Losing weight should be cheery, so cheer up, buttercup!
We have reservations for dinner tonight. While I’m excited to be able to go out with my husband for a nice dinner, I’m not excited because once again, I do not have anything to wear. I have a few dresses that are too big and are for summer anyhow, and one pair of ill-fitting slacks. That’s it. I have one sweater that fits, two sweaters that are too big, two shirts that fit great but one has stains on the front due to some washing machine incident* and the other I only have jeans to go with it. That’s it beside a drawer full of t-shirts–most of which are way too big. We are not going to a jeans restaurant tonight. So, I’m starting to feel grumpy about an evening that is suppose to be nice.
I’m going to attempt to find something once again, but I’m remembering my last shopping trip where anytime I found anything that I liked, they didn’t have my size. This always makes me grumpy, and I really don’t want to be grumpy for tonight.
I’m going to go shopping as soon as my jeans are out of the wash. I’m back down to one pair and I had to wash them before wearing.
I’m posting this whine because I need some good shopping mojo right now.
*I tried your suggestion, roya_spirit, and it didn’t work. All my shirts in that load are still stained.
