Post Christmas Glow
Christmas is now over, although we still have the tree, decorations and lights to take down, and the piles of loot to organize and put away. We all came out really well in the loot department, and for that we are very fortunate. However, having Mac’s family and my family here on Christmas Eve was great. The meal was one hour later than I expected, but considering I started a day late, that was great. Nothing was compromised because of my late timing. Having Madisyn and Connor here was the best. I had so much fun with them. I wish they could have stayed longer. Ada was in the best mood, even though we woke her up to open gifts. I was leary of doing so given her tendancy towards drama, but it worked out great. She delighted everybody watching her open and play with her gifts.
Today we went over to Missouri to Mac’s aunt’s house. It was a lot of fun there too. Ada wasn’t in as good of mood there, but it wasn’t as bad as it has been previous times. It was past her bedtime, and there were a lot of people there. Lily’s dress was darling, and everytime Ada started to cry, Lily smiled and laughed. It was great.
