Ada is 7 months old today. She is grabbing onto everything–finally. It is sort of a double-edged sword. I’m glad that she finally decided to become interested in the stuff around her, but I bent down to give her a big kiss on the cheek, and she grabbed a handful of hair in each hand and yanked and yanked and yanked. She also likes to grab my lip and nose. I picked up some new ornaments* for myself this weekend thanks to a trip organized by chernobylred–just in time for her to yank them off of me. I’ve been talking about getting my ears repierced and thinking about repiercing my nose, but I may wait until Ada understands the word “No.”
Today, I had her on her blanket playing with her toys. I went into the kitchen to work a little, and when I went back, she had rolled halfway across the living room. She is penned in by furniture, but soon, that won’t stop her. We will probably have to install a swinging gate at the top of the stairs right after Christmas.
All you will find here are photos, my weekly menus and babblings about my children. I am trying out new themes as time allows. I don't think this one will work out well with my photos unless I make this a two-column layout.
