Ah, much better
My Saturday got much better once we got Ada to sleep and I meet up online to play games with my mom and brother. I thought I was going to go crazy on Saturday, after my whole day was ruined by Ada’s temperament.
Today was even better. We had all of Mac’s family and a couple of friend’s of the family over on Sunday for a total of 10 people. Thank goodness that Ada slept through most of it. The times that she has been awake this weekend, she has been uber-grouchy. That also meant that I got to cook uninterupted. I made a vegeterian lasagna, buschetta with an herb tapanade and baked feta and tomatos, garlic bread with balsamic vinegar and EVOO, prosciutto wrapped asparagus and plain asparagus drizzeled with balsamic vinegar. Hilary made a snake, and along with a really good pasta salad, green bean salad and French silk pie, it was a good dinner with lots of food. Ada did eventually wake up, and was fed peas by all of her aunts.
Then to close the evening, Mac watched Ada while I went to over to Tess’s and watched Desparate Housewives with Tess and Hilary. It was great to get out of the house, even for a little while.
