Work: Wow, how much beter working has been. I’ve been productive today thus far, came up with a new idea for one of our applications, and I’m even doing documentation. I normally hate the documenting part. I’d rather be doing than writing about doing, at least as far as developing is involved.
Reading: I hated when I was anemic and I could no longer read. Two, three or even four passes at a page would not cement the words I was reading. I can read once more, and a couple of days ago opted to read something for pleasure rather than read the often boring technical selections I have been partaking in lately. I decided on reading Geek Love–a book that I’ve owned for awhile and have yet to even open.
Ada did really good on her first day at daycare–eating and sleeping most of the day. That is great for them, but not so much for Mac and I since we were up with her most of the night. She was all smiles and cooing when I left her today. I’m glad that she does well with other people, but then again, would it kill her to act like I’m more special to her now and then?
