Ah yes, because semantics* is the problem with the education system.

A spokesman for the group said it wanted to avoid labelling children.

So the solution to avoid labelling children is to just relabel them?

Thanks to Mac for sending me this article: it is the ink pens that are demoralizing today’s students. The best quote from this one:

“I never use red to grade papers because it stands out like, ‘Oh, here’s what you did wrong.’ ”

So, of course, you don’t want kids to ever see they did something wrong, so what would be a good color? According to the article:

“And, of course, kids also like purple because it’s the color of Barney.”
