Ada’s First

Ada went to her first dinner out at Joe’s Crab Shack for Mac’s birthday. Ada did really well until it was time to eat*, and then she realized that she was in a crazy place and started crying. Since this is my first trip out with a baby, I didn’t realize they had those cool car seat slings for the table.

I will also swear on a stack of whatever may be important to you that Ada said her first word today. She has been babbling a lot, and while she was watching me put up her clothes, I swear she belted out a big “boo-yah.” Swear.

Mac got World of Warcraft for his birthday, so that is what he is doing right now. It is running really well on the Alienware. I almost picked up a couple of PS2 games, but changed my mind reasoning that we don’t always make time to sleep let alone play games. I haven’t been working since end of April, and I haven’t even touched a game. He also got a new HiFi Receiver to add to our entertainment center. All we have left is to upgrade the speakers and get that MythTV box set up on the media computer. We just need to find a place to back-up our two 250GB sata drives.

*Which she does at home too. I don’t know when I’m going to be able to eat my dinner while it is still warm again.
