You win some, you lose some
I was standing at my kitchen window admiring the rain and thunder while doing some quick washing, when suddenly there was this loud popping in my ears and all I could see was bright flashes of white, orange and yellow lights. As soon as my eyesight returns, I run to check on my baby. As soon as I see that my television is okay, I check on Ada*. She is fine if even oddly content, but she isn’t plugged into a wall outlet.
Loss: My computer will not boot up, but there is power and beep codes, so I probably only lost one component.
Every channel is playing grey and white stripes. The cable box is stuck at 11:14 and will not power off.
Win: DVD player is fine so Ada and I are watching Farscape. Can you believe there are two episodes that I haven’t seen before? Bonus!
