Weekend
I spent the weekend mainly catching up on sleep, hoping it will help prevent sickness from becoming worse.
What I did get to do:
–Sleep
–Go on a walk to take Ada to visit grandpa
–Clean up the kitchen slightly
–Made a trip to Home Depot with Ada to get molding for her room.
–Organized Ada’s clothes in her new closet.
–Order clothes for Ada: I got a handful of things for her for when she is bigger, including a monkey onesie and monkey socks.
–Ordered Madisyn’s* birthday present. She’s a super-girl, so I got appropriate clothing although none of it is in her preferred princess theme. I did get her a flowered skirt**, a lollipop t-shirt***, some capris, a layered t-shirt, a bag and matching sandals. I’ll probably make up for the lack of princess items by throwing some lip-gloss in her bag.
–Visit Squanto: he went to the vet on Saturday. Yippee for him only weighing 16lbs, down from about 19lbs. He took about 6 – 8 sniffs of the top of Ada’s head, and then went about this business sniffing the rest of the house without showing anymore concern for Ada or her stuff that was lying around.
What I didn’t get to do:
–Clean the kitchen completely
–Clean either of the bathrooms
–Paint Ada’s new molding
–Catch up on LJ. I don’t get to during the day, but hopefully I’ll be better at keeping up once I get my new toy, which is still in stage 4 of way too many stages.
My trip to Home Depot went well pain wise. Mac and our friends who went with us also let me look through the tile. I’m starting to plan on working on updating the house. We can’t afford to do everything, so we decided to do the party room downstairs first and our closet, which will just be painted and a closet organizer installed.
The walk wasn’t too bad pain wise either, so I may start taking Ada for morning walks. I really want to get off of my butt to help with my energy level.
Cookies, yes, I need to arrange to pick up cookies if there are any left.
Oh, oh!!! Right now I’m watching a preview for The Island–Ewan’s next movie opening the end of July. Eeeeeeee!!
