I also know of another remedy

First, here is an article about treating migraines with Botox shots.

I have been a migraine sufferer since I was 11 years old. The frequency of my migraines has improved from 1 – 2 a week to 1 every few months as I have aged. My migraines come with throbbing pain in the front of my head, aura, nausea, light and sound sensitivity and sometimes even disorientation. So far, the only thing that alleviates these headaches is sleep. No pain medication has ever helped unless it is something that will knock me out so I can sleep.

My migraines have improved, but I still get at least one headache a week. At least I did until I became pregnant. I’ve had two headaches my entire pregnancy, one of which was on moving day when I was doing way too much activity than I was supposed to and I went a long tme without eating. As soon as I sat down for a bit and had some lunch, the headache went away. Neither of these headaches were migraines. I also stopped wearing my glasses without consequence* and have yet needed to start wearing them again.

*I’m farsighted, so I wear my glasses to avoid eye-strain headaches. My eyesight without my glasses is 20/13. In the past, I could not even look at a computer screen or watch tv for more than 10 minutes without getting a headache if I didn’t wear my glasses. Now, I can’t even tell you when the last time it was that I had them on.
