No, I won’t get to see Star Wars when it opens on May 19th. There is no way I’ll be able to sit in a theatre seat yet. However, I will try to go see it the first or third weekend in June, depending on getting a babysitter. I haven’t even bothered to check whether there will be a digital version playing at the GoogelPlex* like Episode II. Is it?

I’ve been watching an abundent amount of tv this past week**, and I’ve seen the trailer lots of times, not to mention all the commercials***. I don’t care if it will be bad. I like watching Ewan running around, brandishing his light saber. Uh huh.

**I’ve tried to stay sitting as much as possible because I just want to heal and be back to my normal self. Plus, oral Percoset and Demerol don’t work for crap with me, so I’d like to not strain any incisions inside or out so I don’t drag out the pain. It is definately much better than it was a week ago, but I’m still hurting and limping by the end of the day.

***I just saw the freakin’ hilarious Star Wars/Burger King commercial. It is a good thing that laughing only causes mild pain now. In the hospital, laughing was enjoyable for about 3 seconds until the pain hit, and then it made me cry.
