Stuology

Just a word that Stuology, the last of my sites to move to the new server, will be transitioning shortly, although it may be without the ability to comment for a bit. Lots of changes going on recently that have kept me occupied, but happily occupied.

Bad thing for this week: One of the network operations techs for the company I worked for died in an accident while working a power restoration. I didn’t know him since I work for corporate and he worked in one of the field offices in one of the seven states we provide gas/electric too. I did have to remove him from all call out lists and crews to be dispatched for electrical outages. This is the first tech that has died from an accident while I’ve been working for this company. The really sad part is he had just gotten back from vacation he took last week for the birth of his son.

A new ice cream joint opened up yesterday, which I got to go to thanks to the keen eye of Bella. They have a really good monkey flavor*.
